Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Dovik, a task manager that works inside WhatsApp. Dovik is built and operated by AI4U (“AI4U”, “we”, “us”). By messaging Dovik, creating an account, joining a Dovik group, adding Dovik to a WhatsApp group, or using any Dovik feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dovik.

1. What Dovik does

Dovik helps you create, update, assign, search, complete, restore, and delete tasks. Dovik can also help with groups, reminders, recurring reminders, daily digests, and follow-ups.

Dovik uses AI models to understand messages and decide what to do. AI can misunderstand, miss context, create the wrong task, miss a reminder, or be wrong. Do not rely on Dovik for medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions. You are responsible for checking important tasks, dates, reminders, and outputs.

2. Your account and WhatsApp

Your account is tied to your WhatsApp phone number. There is no separate Dovik password. If someone has access to your phone or WhatsApp account, they may be able to use Dovik as you.

You are responsible for keeping your phone and WhatsApp account secure. Each WhatsApp number gets one Dovik account, unless we approve otherwise.

You need a working WhatsApp account that you are allowed to use. Dovik depends on WhatsApp and cannot work if WhatsApp is unavailable, your WhatsApp account is blocked, or Meta/WhatsApp changes its service.

If WhatsApp or the law where you live requires parent or guardian permission for your use, you must have that permission.

3. Groups

Dovik can be used in WhatsApp groups and Dovik-managed task groups. If you add Dovik to a group or activate Dovik in a group, group members may see Dovik messages, assigned tasks, task updates, reminders, digests, and other group activity.

Do not add Dovik to a group unless you are allowed to do so. Group admins and members are responsible for the content they share, the people they invite, and how they use Dovik in that group.

In normal group use, Dovik responds when mentioned, replied to, activated, or needed for a service message. Group behavior depends on product settings and WhatsApp or provider behavior.

4. Plans, trials, and billing

Dovik may be offered as a free beta, a free plan, a trial, a paid subscription, or another plan shown in WhatsApp or at checkout.

We may offer free task actions, a free trial, or other launch plans before paid use. If a paid plan is offered, the price, currency, taxes, billing period, trial terms, and included features will be shown before you pay.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access after cancellation is described at checkout, in-product, or in these terms, unless we must limit access for legal, security, abuse, or provider-policy reasons.

We may change prices, plan limits, or included features for future billing periods. If a change materially affects a paid plan you already use, we will give reasonable advance notice where required.

Payment processing is handled by the provider shown at checkout. We do not store your full card number.

If a payment fails, we may retry the payment, ask you to update payment details, limit paid features, or move your account to Guest mode after a reasonable grace period.

5. Guest mode and deletion

If your trial ends, you cancel, or a payment fails after retries, your account moves to Guest mode.

In Guest mode:

  • You can still be tagged or assigned tasks in groups.
  • You may have a limited number of task actions each month based on our plans at that time.
  • You can resubscribe or reactivate if the service still supports it.

If there is no activity for an extended period in Guest mode, your account may move to a deletion state. The Privacy Policy explains current retention and deletion timing. Messaging Dovik before permanent deletion may reactivate the account.

6. What you can’t do with Dovik

Do not use Dovik to:

  • Spam, scam, or mislead people.
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, shame, or harm anyone.
  • Share illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, fraud, or unlawful personal data.
  • Add Dovik to groups where you are not allowed to add bots or services.
  • Secretly monitor people, collect data about people without a valid reason, or violate privacy rights.
  • Break WhatsApp, Meta, AI provider, payment processor, or other third-party rules.
  • Reverse engineer Dovik, extract confidential instructions or internal logic, bypass limits, or attack our systems.
  • Create fake accounts, fake referrals, automated abuse, scraping, or load that harms the service.
  • Resell, rebrand, or offer Dovik as your own service without written permission.

We may throttle, suspend, block, or close accounts, groups, phone numbers, or usage that violates these rules or creates risk for users, Dovik, AI4U, or our providers.

7. Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in the tasks, messages, reminders, notes, and other content you create or send to Dovik.

You give us permission to store, process, transmit, back up, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, debug, and improve the reliability of Dovik. Product improvement may use aggregated or de-identified data where practical. AI4U does not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for the content you send to Dovik and for making sure you have the right to share it.

8. Dovik and our rights

Dovik, including the service, software, design, brand, content, and documentation, belongs to AI4U or our licensors.

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Dovik according to these terms. You do not get any ownership rights in Dovik.

If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Dovik without owing you anything.

9. Third-party services

Dovik depends on third-party services for messaging, hosting, databases, AI processing, observability, scheduling, payments, and other operations. The Privacy Policy lists the categories of service providers that process personal data.

Those services may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, account blocks, delivery failures, model errors, provider refusals, or other failures caused by third-party services.

10. Availability and changes

Dovik is in beta and may change. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed.

We do not promise uninterrupted service or any service-level agreement during beta. WhatsApp outages, AI provider issues, hosting failures, bugs, abuse protection, rate limits, and maintenance may affect Dovik.

If we make a material change that reduces a paid plan you already bought, we will give reasonable advance notice and a chance to cancel where required.

11. Ending access

You can stop using Dovik at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users or the service, fail to pay a paid plan, or if we shut down Dovik. If we shut down the service, we will provide reasonable notice and export options where practical or legally required, unless legal, security, or operational reasons prevent it.

12. Disclaimers and liability

Dovik is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties except those required by law.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AI4U is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed reminders, missed deadlines, business interruption, or reliance on AI output.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Dovik is limited to the amount you paid us for Dovik in the 12 months before the claim. If you paid nothing, our total liability is limited to USD $50.

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights, privacy rights, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. The courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights in another place.

14. Other legal terms

These terms are the entire agreement between you and AI4U for Dovik. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations if Dovik is reorganized, sold, or moved to another operator, and we will handle personal data according to the Privacy Policy.

If we do not enforce a term right away, that does not mean we waive it. If these terms are translated, the English version controls unless the law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where practical or legally required. If you do not agree to the updated terms, stop using Dovik and cancel any paid plan before the change applies.
